Puppy and Kitten Care
We recommend that your puppy or kitten have their first check up at 8 weeks of age or as soon as you welcome them into your home. During this check-up Dr. Jaimie will perform a thorough physical and dental examination, administer any necessary diagnostics, vaccinations and screenings, and develop a healthcare plan that is tailored to fit your pet’s needs. Dr. Jaimie will also discuss with you any additional questions or concerns you may have including having your pet spayed or neutered, microchipping, or diet.
Adult Wellness Care for Dogs and Cats
Dr. Jaimie recommends an annual physical examination for all patients between 1 and 7 years of age and bi-annual exams for pets over 7 years of age. During these examinations Dr. Jaimie will perform a thorough physical and dental examination, administer any necessary diagnostics and vaccination boosters, and continue to monitor and adjust your pet’s healthcare regimen as needed. As your pet continues to age they will require closer monitoring. Dr. Jaimie may also recommend preventive care such as dietary modifications, pain management methods, supplements, alternative therapies, and other beneficial services as indicated.
